New home for Kurazh: Pavilion 9 at Expocenter of Ukraine

Kurazh, the Ukrainian charitable fair, has found a new home — Pavilion 9 at the Expocenter of Ukraine in Kyiv. It will be a place for the charity festival and a permanent cultural hub for those creative and charitable initiatives that currently do not have their own space. It will host exhibitions and theatre performances, sports competitions and fundraising events.

What we do

Big City Lab realizes a turnkey project. We accompany it from the development of the idea to the opening of the space, which includes the following stages:

• analysis of the condition of the pavilion,
• development of a preliminary design
• conducting a tender for repair and construction works
• development of an engineering concept
• development of working drawings
• technical supervision and the author's control during construction.

The architectural concept was developed in collaboration with the independent architectural bureau FORMA.

‍

The project is currently in the implementation phase.

‍

The opening of Pavilion 9 and the first Kurazh event at the new location is expected in the first half of 2025.
